Thomas Lewis is a widower in the 1861 Census. His wife Elizabeth (nee Harries) must have died between the 1851 and 1861 Censuses. In 1871 there is a Census record which could well be Thomas remarried to a much younger woman, with a 12 year old son. There is a record of a marriage in Q1 1866 in Llangadock of a Margaret Harries and Thomas Lewis. The surname can't be a co-incidence. Also found the birth of a James Harries, to mother Margaret, a servant (no father) with a baptism on 6 May 1860 in St. Cadog, Llangadog.
