Elizabeth Lewis was born on 13 November 1834 and baptised 28 November 1834 in Llangadog parish, being the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Lewis of Waunystrad Meiras.David Walters married Elizabeth Lewis on 21 June 1862 in the parish church of Llangadock in Carmarthenshire. His father's name was John Walters. (Llandovery District 11a 745). She was a spinster of full age. He was a labourer of full age. Her father's name was Thomas Lewis. His father's name was John Walters. Her residence at time of marriage was Waunystrad Meiras. His residence at time of marriage was Cwrwaun. The witnesses were James Lewis her younger brother, William Williams, and William Howells.
