Eliza Minty Biography

Eliza Minty was born in 1819 and baptised 7^th November 1819 in Foxcote, Somerset. Her father was Jonathan Minty and her mother Dorcas Silcox of Wellow, nr Dunkerton Somerset, England.

Her siblings were: -George Minty born 1817, Hester Minty born and died 1824 and Mary Ann Minty born 1826 died 1891

On July 28^th 1842 she married Thomas Mudford, at the Parish Church in the Parish of Foxcote, Somerset. Both were described as being full age and both had an X as their mark. His residence at the time of marriage was given as Midsomer Norton. Her residence at the time of marriage was given as Foxcote. His father was Joseph Mudford (labourer). Her father was Jonathan Minty (labourer). Witnesses were Joseph Long? and Elizabeth Britten?
