My Home Town
With a population of over 47,000 people, Barry is the principal town of the Vale of Glamorgan. It is located just a few miles south west of Cardiff, on the popular coast of the Vale of Glamorgan and is a place with many aspects.It has long been a port and centre of industry. It is a favourite place of residence for people whose work is in Cardiff and, above all,it is one of the most popular holiday resorts in South Wales, with a whole host of attractions for its visitors. Its most recent claim to fame is as a location in the BBC comedy series Gavin & Stacey.
