Albert Gabriel Stone was born on 26 November 1869 in Sherborne Road, Yeovil, Somerset, England. His father's name was Philip Alfred Stone, a workman on the Railway. His mother's name was Sarah Stone, formerly Adlam. She registered the birth on 3 February 1870. He was baptised 26 May 1872 in St. Matthews Church, Wookey, Somerset

He married Emma Jane Francis on 23 April 1894 at the Wesleyan Chapel, Shepton Mallet (GRO Ref 5c 849). He was aged 24 and a baker from West Shepton, Shepton Mallet. His father was Philip Alfred Stone, a labourer. She was 24 from Bath Road, Bridgewater. Her father was Thomas Francis, an engine driver. The two witnesses were Philip Alfred Stone, his father and Margaret Elizabeth Stone, his sister.

In Shepton Mallet, had daughter Margaret Elizabeth Adlam (born 21 July 1895), son Ernest Philip Alfred (born 1 July 1896), son Stanley Charles (born 1 November 1897), son Albert Clifford (born 3 January 1899), and daughter Ethel Gladys (born 24 January 1900).

Left Shepton Mallet when flour dust from his Baker occupation caused chest problems. He then became an ostler at Miskin, Mountain Ash.

There had daughter Victoria Maude (born 1 May 1901 who died 19 July the same year), son Clarence Edward John (born 19 June 1902 who died the same year), another Victoria Maude (born 26 July 1903 and died same year), son John Edward (known as Jack born 26 December 1904), son Clarence (Clar) Thomas Alfred (born 17 Febuary 1906), daughter Francis Mabel Winifred, son John (Jack) William, son Idris (Id) Brinley (born 13 March 1908) and son Reginald Stone (born 1911).

Moved to Tidenham on doctor's advice to allow Emma Jane to recover from grief over the death of their young son, Reginald, who died aged 10.

He died on 17 January 1925 in The Chase, Tidenham, Chepstow of cardiac failure due to shock, the result of acute intestinal obstruction. There is no headstone at his burial site at St. Michael & All Angel's church in Tidenham in the Diocese of Gloucester.
